LAW—ORDER—JUSTICE

LEX ...

The word "lex" literally means LAW ... and within our spiritual context, it means the 10 Commandments.

Law ... it is "common" to see Moses with two (2) tablets when coming down from the Mountain. Since the law is in reality a "link" ... it relates. The first tablet relates to the CREATOR, while the second relates to other creatures.

... and Order ... once we understand that laws relate, we must find how they relate. The ORDER is one of the seven (7) sacraments. This particular "order" says that the TABLET  #1 is NOT equal to the other, but different, it "precedes" but also has a "subsidiary" yet obligatory set of relations with other creatures.

The members of the priesthood (ORDER as a sacred duty) are chosen, in a way similar to how the Mother of God was chosen. The Blessed Mother was born without the original sin, thus did NOT "need" salvation. The priests however are NOT "automatically" elected. They also have to confess, before being "redeemed".

JUSTICE

The imaging of Ancient Greece shows Lady Justice as a "blindfolded" person "looking" at the two trays of the balance. With the New (and Eternal) Testament Our Lady "fulfills" the Letter of the law, with the intercession of Mercy. Between the Good Thief and the recognition of the Kingship of OLJC, Our Lady presents the repentance for the Pardon.

... on the Calvary, there were three (3) crosses. One from which Salvation came, the second that confessed and received Salvation ... finally the one that denied and rejected it. The Blessed Mother was NOT at the "table" on Holy Thursday, yet she stood-up at the foot of the Cross on Holy Friday.

The Sanhedrin thought that by "framing" OLJC with two thieves, their sins would ... DISAPPEAR.

Wrong justice was to be "balanced" with  "MERCY".

The good-thief, upon hearing OLJC say to his Father: "Forgive them, because they know NOT what they are doing" ... finally recognized and confessed OLJC as the King of kings.

At the time of the Crucifixion two of the CHOSEN apostles were "not worthy", and the ten others were "silent". Judas was committing suicide, and Peter was (three times) denying "knowing OLJC". St Dismas, (also known as the good thief) received what Judas denied. And in the following years the disciples also had to confess (most often through martyrdom) before being elected. Because of his confession, St Dismas was the "first saint" to be admitted into heaven ... after OLJC "re-opened" the original Paradise 4,000 years after the original sin.
