In the summer of 2000 a new opportunity arose for Avery Construction with the new owners of the Tubular Division located at Algoma Steel Inc.  Avery negotiated the contract to handle tubular products being imported from overseas to their new facility.  Our contract consists of trucking the tube rounds and finished pipe from the dock to their property.  The tube rounds are delivered to the mill and the finished pipe is brought to the pipe yard where we sort according to destination.  Our crew then loads the pipe on railcars or highway tractors depending on its final destination.

Although this was a big step for the company, we feel diversity is the key to success and survival in an ever changing marketplace.
