Very dramatic and sensual abstract nude painting with a lot of texture and free, expressionist brushstrokes. This nude has a strong 'presence' and almost appears to be moving. I painted her in rich and sumptuous Fauve colors with strong color contrasts of reds, yellows and oranges and with fluid and sensual lines and contrasts of both transparent and shiny black acrylic paint. This painting is very striking also because of its size - it is 4 feet long.

I created the painting using multiple layers of high-quality acrylic paints. The colors are bright and vibrant and there are many different hues of pure colors, including cool and warm blues and violets, oranges, reds, shades of pinks and other colors that a photo cannot fully capture. If you like the photo you will love the painting! The colors you see also depend on your computer's monitor settings. The painting's colors depend on the color and intensity of the light that illuminates the painting and different illumination (daylight, evening light, spotlight) will emphasize different hues and tones of colors in the painting.
