This term, we will learning about poetry. Writing poems and learning
literary devices will help to improve your writing skills. You will be expected to complete these assignments
as well as others introduced in class. Also, you will present
a poem by an author to the class and one person will present his
or hers in front of the student body during Arts Week. At the
end of this unit of study, you will write a test on literary devices.
