~Raspberry Snowbars~
Base                    
3/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 vanilla
2 egg yokes
1 1/2 cups flour

Mix together, press into square baking pan, bake 15minutes at 350F

Topping
1/2 cup coconut
1/2 cup sugar
Raspberry Jam
Egg whites
Spread jam onto cooled base, top jam with coconut.
Beat egg whites with sugar, beat til peak forms,spread over top of jam and coconut layer.
Bake at 350F for 25min or until egg whites are slighty tanned in color.
