Rick Luytjes

Frederick (Rik) Luytjes ran a company in Pennsylvania called Air America in the early to mid 1980's that specialized in making planes fly faster and longer then they're intended to. Luytjes knew more about planes then most people know their own dick. He was an incredible airplane mechanic and an extremely skilled pilot. So, what's the point, you ask? Well...
He used his skills and airplane expertise to fly over $20 billion of cocaine from Colombia to Pennsylvania. Using a Cessna 310, (pictured abve) Luytjes modified his plane by putting "bladders" in various parts of the plane, such as the wings, belly, and tail to make the 6000 mile round trip. Yet, unbelievably, while Luytjes was on trial for a different trafficking charge, on weekends when he was supposed to be at home, he would fly to Colombia, pick up a few hundred pounds of cocaine, and fly it back in time for his trial Monday morning. He did this brave act, to ensure the Colombians that he wasn't "ratting" anybody in their Cartel out.
