Chilliwack, B.C. is a town of about 75,000 people and is located 60
miles east of Vancouver, British Columbia. Our Scrabble Club was established in
October of 1998 by our
founder, famous author W. P. Kinsella. (pictured right) Over the past few years we have grown to
approximately 25 members and generally
average around 12 players per week. We meet every Thursday night at 7:00 p.m.
for three games. We start out with a random draw to determine your opponent and
after that you will play someone close to your club ranking. We are currently
playing at the Glad Tidings Fellowship executive meeting room (46641 Chilliwack
Central Rd. pictured left) We are always looking for new players of
any skill
level, so if you would ever like to join us, by all means please do so!
NEWCOMERS
should click HERE for some basic rules. We are not a
sanctioned NSA club, so we don't have any membership fees and there is no cost
to play. If you like, you can occasionally bring a few cookies, a bag of chips
or anything to nibble on as we Scrabbler's seem to work up a tremendous appetite
while we are playing and coffee is always supplied. For more information send me
an E-MAIL, we would love to hear from you!
Have a look at the map below to see where we're located.
