This release of the Chieftains is a broad retrospect of their 40 year career with primary emphasis on their releases in the 1980s and 90s. The cd has tracks from The Long Black Veil, A Celebration, Another Country, Tears of Stone, Santiago, Celtic Harp, Long Journey Home, The Chieftains In China, and Film Cuts. It is a nice album for a person to get a taste of the Chieftains in some of their many moods including the exploration of other musical genres, film work and with orchestras.
