The Chieftains
7 is another enjoyable album, in the Chieftains early playing style. The
tracks on this album are made up of several medleys. The last track, Oh! The
Breeches Full Of Stitches is made up of five tunes. The third track gives a good
example of Michael Tubridy's concertina playing. Derek Bell on harp and Kevin
Coneff on bodhrán are also exhibited in this tune. Two different album covers were released for the album. The caricatures of the leprechauns was for the release in the United States and Canada on the CBS Columbia Label. The blue and green cover was released in Ireland and the United Kingdom under the Claddagh label
