By now the Chieftains were well on their way with their sound firmly established. This album opens with Drowsey Maggie which showcases each Chieftain in a small solo piece. As with the older albums, this one has several slow airs, Carrickfergus as performed by Derek Bell is beautifully done and one that the Chieftains would do again many years later with James Galway. This album is the first to feature Derek Bell. Overall another nice album, and if you are looking for one that is a good showcase of Peadar Mercier's bodhrán and bones playing, this is one to consider.
