Volume Two of the Claddagh collection reflects some of the finest tunes that appeared during The Chieftains tenure on the Claddagh label. This CD is a wonderful introduction to their music from their up and coming days in the 1970s. It shows the music at its purest form. The Chieftains were with the Claddagh label for the 1960s and part of the 1970s. They also released several albums in the 1980s on Claddagh, namely The Chieftains in China and Ballad of the Irish Horse.
