Brazier Branches and Leaves

Well once again I am taking the yearly family photo. It was a great weekend!

The word brazier generally has to do with cooking .  Brazier can be a medium sized pan, used for cooking.  Also, Brazier is a method of cooking; generally over hot coals, or modern terms, “Char broiled”.  A Brazier in or around the 1700’s in England was a person who worked with brass therefore the job title would have been a brasier, brassier or brazier. 

      I have come across many spelling variations in my searches of family info.  The main ones being; Brazier, Brasier, Brasher, Brazeur.

       My objective is to display an outline of the information on my family to date that I have managed to gather.  With this info up, I wish to connect to more Brazier cousins.  This name is extremely hard to research and my line is originating from the Kent County area of England with George Brazier coming to Canada in 1836.
