Gendo asked, his voice surprisingly steady and even despite his current physical exertion. "This is hardly the time to ask that," Ritsuko gasped. "Did. You. Finish?" Gendo asked again, louder and punctuating every word with a thrust. His head was near hers now and she could feel his breath against her neck. "Y-yes," Ritsuko finally answered. She hadn't been planning on giving it to him until she adjusted some of the results. As if reading her mind, Gendo stopped midway and pulled away from her. Ritsuko rose up in panic, not wanting him to go, as he often did when the night was not as satisfactory as he wanted. Rather than leave, she found herself being flipped over by him suddenly. She knew what he wanted, but was not fast enough to get to her hands to avoid the chafing. He never seemed to care if she was comfortable or not. However, she found him motionless with his hand along her hip, and found the time to push off the bed and onto all fours. She winced and her hands nearly gave way as Gendo swatted the side of her buttock. She closed her eyes waiting for the next one and was again surprised to find that it didn't come. Instead, his hand remained where it had hit her, softly, almost teasingly. "It won't happen again." The hand delved lower, off the rise and swell of her bottom, in answer. "Today was perhaps not the best day to run the test." He was admitting he was wrong? She snapped her mouth shut to avoid the almost impish 'told you so' that was on the tip of her tongue. Today was affecting her as much as it had affected Mo... the Magi it seemed. She blamed the giddiness of the younger members of her staff. Why, Maya's infectious joy almost caused her to crack a smile when her assistant gave out chocolates to everyone, including her. She drew in her breath, her reverie effectively broken as the hand moved toward her inner thigh. She felt the bed creak as he got back on it. "No, it wasn't," she ended up saying. Ritsuko felt herself relax at the sudden unasked intrusion. This was more like him. She was a creature of habit and in the beginning, she had thought him to be also. How wrong she was had never been so clear. When she raised a hand to help herself finish, it was slapped away, as if he were indicating he would take care of it. It was normally something he didn't bother with or even care about. She moaned as fingers not her own played her better than she had ever been able to do. The colors of the room intensified, then faded as she peaked and slowly dropped off. As quickly as that, it was done. She collapsed onto the bed, and a moment later he was finished. However, instead of the usual sudden loss of him leaving her, she felt him collapse atop her... but for only a moment. The reassuring hand on her shoulder might have been him trying to find purchase. The tender caress might have been his hand slipping on her sweat-soaked body. The lingering touch might have been because he was tired. And the kiss.... Then he was gone, and she was strangely happy as she slept in her comfortable exhaustion. * * * * * The End. (maybe)
