We accept general monetary donations for our operating costs and also appreciate any ‘horsey and doggy’ items for general care of the animals (including tack) and educational material. We are a registered charity and can issue ‘tax receipts’ for your donations! Volunteer To become a volunteer… CHAAPS is looking for individuals who have a love for animals and people! Our Volunteers consist of: Animal Handlers, Session Helpers, Administrators and Equipment Builders, plus those who offer help in their area of expertise or hobby. Sponsor Programs CHAAPS Rider Sponsor Sponsor a rider in the Therapeutic Riding program that may otherwise not be able to participate for financial reasons. CHAAPS Horse Sponsor Choose one of the horses and decide which expenses you would like to Sponsor for the year. Horse care expenses include: winter feed, summer pasture, grain/supplements, farrier services and vet care. “Be wary of the horse with a sense of humor.” - Pam Brown
