SINGLE PARENT SUPPORT PROGRAM
Offering support, information, and assistance to single parent families and their children (funded by the City of Calgary FCSS).  A weekly support group, along with individual support and advocacy are the main components of the program.

INTERNET COMMUNITY ACCESS PROGRAM (CAP)
We are one of the CAP sites in the city of Calgary, offering two computers with high speed internet connections at our location.  Photocopying and faxing service is also available to help with your job or housing search!

GOOD FOOD BOX
Working with the Community Kitchens Program, we can connect you with a box of fresh produce cheap!  Boxes come in three sizes - $10 for 20 pounds, $15 for 30 pounds, or $20 for 40 pounds.  It's a great bargain and a great way for you to get fresh vegetables.  Contact the Centre for ordering information and deadlines.

ALONG THE WAY

Along the Way is a mentorship program for single parents in our area.  Volunteers who have been there and done that are matched up with single parents who want some additional support and the benefit of experience.

INFORMATION AND REFERRAL

 Depending on your need, we can help you find the appropriate service, agency, or program within the community.

SUPPORT AND COUNSELLING

The Family/Community Support Worker is available for individual counselling and support either at the office or in your home.  The worker can develop an better understanding of your issues and help you find the most appropriate resources to cope.

CWES COUNSELLING

Through a relationship with the Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter, the Resource Centre has access to a counselor who specializes in dealing with issues around unhealthy and controling relationships.  Contact the Centre for more information.

WORKSHOPS

The Resource Centre is always preparing new workshops and information sessions on a variety of topics, from parenting to personal development.  Contact the Centre for more information.

MOM AND TOTS

The Centre offers a Mom and Tots groups on Tuesday mornings at the Huntington Hills Community Centre.  Contact us for more information.
