Along the Way is a mentorship program for single parents in our area. Volunteers who have been there and done that are matched up with single parents who want some additional support and the benefit of experience. Depending on your need, we can help you find the appropriate service, agency, or program within the community. The Family/Community Support Worker is available for individual counselling and support either at the office or in your home. The worker can develop an better understanding of your issues and help you find the most appropriate resources to cope. Through a relationship with the Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter, the Resource Centre has access to a counselor who specializes in dealing with issues around unhealthy and controling relationships.
