Joined the RCAF Feb, 1963, started basic training 1 April in St Jean, sent to Moose Jaw on Contact Training, went on basic cook's course at CFB Clinton, posted back to Moose Jaw.    1964 - 1965 3 Wing, Zwiebrucken, Germany.   1965 -1968 Air Weapons Unit (AWU), Decimomannu, Sardinia,Italy, i/c shift. LAC/Cpl.   1968 - 1970 CFB Chilliwack, i/c shift Jr Ranks/Officer Cadet kitchen.    1970 - 1973 437 Sqn, Trenton, Flight Steward. Cpl/ MCpl.   1973 - 1975 CFB Comox, i/c shift/kitchen Combined Mess. MCpl/ Sgt.   1975 - 1977 CFS Churchill, i/c Food Services.    1977 - 1980 434 Sqn CFB Cold Lake, i/c Field Kitchen.  Attached posting Egypt May - Nov, 1978.   1980 - 1981 CFB Cold Lake, i/c Jr Ranks kitchen. WO.   1981 - 1985 CFB Borden, i/c WO & Sgt's Mess (north side - Sr Leader's Course Mess); i/c Jr Ranks kitchen, south side; Area WO for Officer's Messes.   1985 - 1989 CFB Calgary, Detachment Wainwright, NCO i/c Food Services. WO/ MWO.    Retired May 1989, last day of work 30 Jan 89.   1989 - 1990 Worked for Supply at Det Wainwright delivering rations to the kitchens.    1990  moved to Dawson Creek. Started with the City of Dawson Creek as a guard at the RCMP. I took my second retirement in 2002 but have kept on as an on call part time guard.   "Took my third and final retirement in October 2006. Spending my time helping Morag look after our 1/4 section Hobby Farm."
