Okay, okay, either we're not a bunch of talkers or the format for the message boards wasn't very user friendly.  It appears I'm not having much luck in this area, but I believe the minimal use or interest is due to both.  However, the Guest Book does get a fair amount of usage.

So I've come up with another couple of alternatives, and hopefully this will be the final change in the message boards.  At the very least I might add another, but I don't foresee changing either of these two.  I believe I've found a venue that benefits us and them without stealing all their thunder for a great interactive web site.  For those of you not aware, Veterans of Canada has set up a slick social web site, similar to Facebook, but just for Veterans and is free to join.  All you require is your email address and a password.  Considering it's mostly us retired bunch checking in here, Veterans of Canada seems to fit our needs.

This link to Veterans of Canada will take you directly to a sign in/sign up page and once you've done either, you'll be directed to our own groups message board and social network area.

And the other choice is our facebook group Although not as private, but there are over 500 members in that group and very little chatter, but there is some.  From what I can tell, more serving cooks are in this group, so maybe this will diversify us some and create a link between the 2 social site and this main one.

I hope this is to everyone's liking.

Cheers,  Mike
