I have been in the cook's trade for 4 years now and have loved every minute.   I got posted to 1RCHA out of Shilo in April of 2002.  Working in a field unit has taught me tremendous amounts.  I am currently in Afghanistan working at Camp Nathan Smith or formally known as the (Provincial Reconstuction Team) PRT.  In my four years in Shilo I have been on numerous Brigade Exercises, the G-8 Summit in B.C. in June of 2002, the B.C.  Fires in August of 2003 and various exercises in Shilo.  I love this trade and can see my self doing this the entire time I am serving.
