| Enlisted 1957, last cook
course with apprentices (8 of us) first of 22 postings, Winnipeg,
1959. 5 UN postings. Rafah, Cyprus and Golan. One tour to Germany,
Werl and Soest, 63-66. 2 year tour with Navy after
re-enlistment.
Took offer in 79 to re-join corrections, did 2 years during break with military, 72/74. Retired in Jan 96...almost 10 years out of work force now. Govt Pensionable time:38.5 years |
