I’m and HR Advisor, Recruitment with ATCO Structures & Logistics, and we are currently looking for a Chef’s for our remote services lodges. Could you please post the following for me?
Description
ATCO Structures & Logistics requires a Chef/Manager for our remote services lodges in Saskatchewan and Alberta.
This position is responsible for the food service facilities of lodge and taking over management duties when the manager is away.
Responsibilities
· Menu Planning
· To ensure that the meals are prepared and severed to the highest standard possible.
· To ensure that the kitchen staff complete their given tasks in a professional and timely manner.
· To ensure that the produce is ordered in accordance with the population of the lodge.
· Take over management duties when manager is out on rotation.
Qualifications
· 2 or more years experience in a similar role
· Journeyman Cooking , FoodSafe, WHMIS certification is an asset
· MS Office experience
· Strong communication, management and organization skills
· 1+ years of experience in a remote camp environment is an asset
· The company prefers to hire local area residents. Non-locals will work a 3 weeks on/1 week off rotation and will be required to provide their own transportation to and from the camp. Accommodations and meals are provided.

The Multinational Force and Observers (www.mfo.org) is staffed by military from 12 different countries, civilians and contracted personnel. Food Services and other support is provided via a contractor, HNSI. At present, the contractor is seeking a Dining Hall Floor Foreman for North Camp in El Gorah. Former military cooks of the rank MCpl to WO could be suited for the job. The job entails Shift work and alternating weekends.
