Joined the military in 1983, OJT in Trenton for 3 Months awaiting QL3 Course.

Posted to CFB Halifax to Willow Park Galley/Ships Manning List worked for Bob Morrell learned how to make wedding cakes, worked in bakeshop for 3 months.

Attached Posted to HMCS Protector #509 and worked for Jimmy Westlake approx 4 months did my OSUT Program.

Attached Posted to HMCS Skeena in Oct 84 until Aug 85. Did Various trips including NATO for 5 Months

Posted to CANCOMSUBRON1 Sub squadron in Sep 85 until Aug 88. Worked for Steve Higdon, Shane Irvine and Mac Bregg also was attached posted to HMCS Okanagan for a couple of trips. They tried to get me to Volunteer.

QL5 Course was completed in Oct 86

Posted to HMCS Saguenay Aug 88 until Aug 90, worked for Doug Haney any Gary Bass, Did various trips including NATO, and final Voyage for the HMCS Saquenay was the great lakes. Afterwhich we payed her off. Promoted Feb 1990 just prior to JLC Course.

Posted to FST CFSAL in Aug of 1990 until Aug 1994, Really enjoyed my time there. Learned more than I taught. Was course Director for QL3 course.

Posted to CFB Gagetown 2RCR From Aug 94 to Sep 98, Worked for Dave Lynch the whole time. Deployed with Golf Coy (CCIFOR) to Bosnia in Jan 96 for a 6 month NATO Deployment.

Posted to CFB Greenwood as IC of the kitchen, life is quiet here, but the work pace has not slowed down much. Other than that happy for now, Resident portion of ILQ course to complete in April, My brother Robin Alain will be on the same course.
