Since 2008, The PipeDreams Group has been a full service Celtic Music provider. We regularly perform for charity events, weddings/receptions, funerals/Memorial Services, parties, concerts, bars/pubs/clubs and we offer the following:

Solo Piper: Traditional and non-traditional pipe music as well as some vocals.

Ensembles: Traditional and non-traditional pipe/Celtic music as well as vocals in pretty much any size or 'flavor' you need.

PipeDreams: The #1 Pipe Band in SL! And the one and only All-Girl, ROCK Bagpipe Band! Bagpipes with ATTITUDE! Traditional and non-traditional pipe/Celtic music as well as vocals.

First, let me stress that we do not perform a 'live' concert. Instead, we have most of the top bands, pipers and Celtic singers in the real world as sponsors. We have their permission to stream their music for our perfomances in return for promoting them in SL.

Available days and times: Days and times when the band or a solo piper is available primarily depends on our RL work/school schedules. Along with that, we try to schedule our contracted repeat (monthly) performances for 3pm SLT on Fridays. We are currently booked for gigs at 3pm SLT on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Fridays of each month.

Monday through Friday, we are essentialy limited to start times between 3pm and 5pm SLT.

Saturday we have a wider time slot, and the same holds for Sundays, although, Sundays 5pm SLT is the latest start time we can accept.

Please contact us as far in advance as you can, so we can make the effort to adjust our RL schedules to be able to play your event.

Rates: Rates to hire the band, or a solo piper are as follows:

**We are available for charity events, in which case there is no booking fee**

*Solo Piper: L$1500 per hour, and billed in 15 minute increments (rounded up). There will be an additional charge of L$300 for any additional music that is requested which I don’t already have. (Subject to availability)

*Ensemble: (Intrumentation varies) L$2400 per hour for a one time event, and L$2000 per hour for a monthly (repeat) contract performance. An encore will not be charged for.

*PipeDreams (Full band): L$2,800 to book the band for a one time 90 minute stage show, or L$2500 for a monthly (repeat) contract performance. A double encore is included in the show. Longer performances are possible, but subject to the band members availability.

*Wedding Package: (Solo Piper and Drummer) L$4800 plus an additional charge of L$300 for any additional music that is requested which I don’t already have. (Subject to availability.)

The Wedding Package includes:
*Pipe Major and drummer, dressed in full, formal, ‘Number One’ uniforms.
*Planning Session(s) with the bride & groom to select the music.
*Full planning/coordination with the wedding planner and/or service.
*Attending the rehearsal (unless it conflicts with RL or a previously scheduled event).
*Up to 1 hour of music played for guest arrival and seating prior to the ceremony.

The Wedding Package is a truly professional and custom service, carried out by the most experienced Piper in SL.

Payment is due when we begin our show. We do not accept prepayment, due to SL, RL and Murphy's Law being what they are.

Prims, Permissions and Scripts: Whether we use one of our own stages, or yours, the band will still need permissions given to Sue McCullough & Kristobell Jiminy to allow us to rezz the band’s equipment. Our large stage, big drum set, double keyboards, mics, amps, speakers and the other gear will total out at just about 200 prims. We will also need either permissions given to allow us to change the music stream in the sim, or for someone to be there for the show who can switch the sim to our stream. We also need scripts enabled for some of our instrumant animations.

Music Stream: We run a high performance server and can handle up 50 listeners at good bitrates.

Set-Up: Whenever possible, we like to set-up our equipment the night before the show.
