| How can I create new decks? | To be able to create new decks in ThinkFast, you need an "Instructor License." The Instructor License comes with special utility program that allows you to easily create decks of cards for use in ThinkFast for DOS. |
| I have an older PC. Will ThinkFast work on it? | ThinkFast for DOS was designed to be able to run on the original IBM PC. If your computer runs DOS, it will run ThinkFast for DOS. Download it and give it a try! |
| I want to make multiple-choice questions for my students. How can I do that in ThinkFast? | ThinkFast for DOS does not have a built-in way to deal with multiple-choice items, as does ThinkFast for Windows. However, you can still make multiple-choice questions with a bit of extra work. I suggest creating the question with "1" as the correct answer. Then copy the question into a new card, scrambling the alternatives, and make the correct answer "2." Repeat for "3" and "4" and so on. The manual shows how to force linefeeds in the question. |
| What is the maximum number of cards I can have in a deck? | The maximum is 100 cards. |
| What subjects have been taught using ThinkFast? | Topics learned with ThinkFast include behavior analysis, physiology, psychology, statistics, botany, chemistry, math facts, linguistics, social work, French, forestry, spelling, biology, English grammar, and Bible studies! |
| Can graphics be used in ThinkFast? | ThinkFast for DOS does not allow non-text items. However, ThinkFast for Windows allows use of picture stimuli and selection of pictures as responses. |
