GOLFING at CEDAR HILL

Our course is one of the busiest Municipal Golf Courses in Canada, and while it is a Par 67, it is not an easy course to score on. Our RCGA rating is 64.6 and the Slope is 113 and for the Ladies the Rating is 66.6 with a 108 Slope.

Most of our Men's Tournaments are on weekends and we have a good participation in Inter-Club Matches with other area clubs. There is an active Senior Men's group that has a monthly scramble competition.

Our Ladies' Division plays on Tuesdays with regular competitions and tournaments, including Inter-Club Matches.

We have a very active Junior Program, well supported by our Golf Professionals, Craig Rencher and Jamie Murphy, and we count among our alumna such well known golfers as Jim Rutledge, Rick Gibson, Gordie Scutt who plays the Canadian Tour this year, Jim Cook now Head Professional at Gorge Vale, and Gary Doherty who is a PGA Tour Caddy. COURSE IMPROVEMENTS

The Municipality of Saanich has filed a 5-year plan for Course Improvements including drainage, new tee boxes and greens, and further planting of trees and shrubs. Our new practice facility is now open.
