"This is a book I needed to read."
"Why?" you ask.
Well, it wasn't because of a great story line. I mean it was fine- "enough to keep you
reading", as my daughter put it.
It wasn't because of the unique characters. (Didn't I see this pair of friends before?)
Neither was it because of its' great moral philosophy. ("Live to please yourself.")
I needed to read this book because of its' simplicity. (No need to analyze this, except
perhaps for that hermit nun!)
I also needed to have words that could flow quickly.
I loved the book's hard cover and the newness of its' jacket. The book fit so well on my
lap.
Now these are certainly not reasons to recommend the book, but they are reasons... well just
to relax. |
