I have been working with OpenVMS since 1981, and have a wide range of experience in the OpenVMS operating system and layered products. However, for the past  three years, I have been studying Microsoft Windows programming, starting with base WIN32 programming and continuing on into Visual Basic 6, Visual C++, and Visual Studio .NET 2003. My most recent Windows application is written in C# and is designed to replace hardcopy printers at 9-1-1 call answer centres in both British Columbia and Alberta.  More information on the Provincial 911 Printer Data Capture Utility may be found by selecting the Printer Data Capture link on the left menu bar.

I am currently available for full-time, part-time, or contract work programming, troubleshooting, debugging, and tuning of OpenVMS systems, or customized Windows application programming.

Just don't ask me to design a web page. :-)
