9mm Aupo: A European experimental
round. The case is expellable, it is essentially a skirt formed
at the base of the solid nose brass projectile, the cartridge being an
integral whole. The electrically activated primer is sealed into the
body about 1/8" below the bottom of the case and the bottom edge has a
slight inward roll which allows an extractor to pull the round from the
chamber to clear the pistol.
