GENERAL SUPPORT
The Rimfire Only CD has a few installation bugs that developed as it was designed to be part of a complete program with Centerfire ammunition as well. When you pout your CVD in, it will either self launch or you must click install from my computer on your CD drive. It will install and come to a message that says two files may not have installed correctly (This is because these two files are not on the CD as are part of the centerfire CD program) It will ask you to hit YES to Abort or NO to continue. Hit NO. (IT is an opposite message from what one usually expects).
Then it will launch an uninstall icon.
Just close this.
Your program will be installed in the following directory:
C:\Program Files (x86)\VVHP\headstampguide
You can either click either of these two files to launch
You can also copy either and put on your desk top to launch.
iper3rd_e.exe
This is the file
that will launch the program. No need to keep inserting the CD to use
the program, it will install to your hard drive.
There is also a
de-install icon in the same place should you need to delete the program
and re-install later.
If the CD goes
through Installation but can not complete, this is a conflict with
software on your system that you will need to fix.
ERROR MESSAGE
If during installation you get the message:
f/f/!!licenseproe... can not be found or was installed incorrectly"
then with a YES or NO choice. Simply Select NO and continue. This is a small programming
glitch but in no way will it harm the program or your computer.

Most email providers restrict the size of outgoing messages, including my provider. If you wish to receive the headstamp and/or measurement guide via email I can use this program to send. Please email if you wish to receive an update Via email.
Please include:
1) email address to send to
2) If you have the Headstamp Guide only or the Headstamp and Cartridge ID & Measurement guide.
To install the updates. Once you receive them you will get a file called Headstamp guide, Rimfire Guide and or Measurement Guide (meaning centerfire measurement guide as rimfire measurement guide is included in the rimfire guide as a link) as downloads, Please copy these new files over top of the same named file names in the directory where you have the headstamp software installed.
