GENERAL SUPPORT

Once you receive your CD Rom, simply insert it into your computer's CD tray. It has a self launch program that will guide you through the installation process. It will ask you if it can create a new directory and if you accept the licence etc. Click "yes" when it asks to create a new directory let it do so, or you will complicate the install process. The directory will be called "programmi" Once the program installs, it will take you to the directory where the program is installed to a short cut icon.  To run the program, all you need to do is click on the icon. You may move the shortcut icon to your desktop so it will be easier to find in the future. If you have troubles locating the program later on, simply search your system for: programmi on the C drive, as this is the directory of the files. The actual executive file needed is: iper3rd_e.exe
This is the file that will launch the program. No need to keep inserting the CD to use the program, it will install to your hard drive.
There is also a de-install icon in the same place should you need to delete the program and re-install later.
If the CD goes through Installation but can not complete, this is a conflict with software on your system that you will need to fix.

ERROR MESSAGE

If during installation you get the message: f/f/!!licenseproe... can not be found or was installed incorrectly" then with a YES or NO choice. Simply Select NO and continue. This is a small programming glitch but in no way will it harm the program or your computer.

Measurement Guide:

If you ordered both the Headstamp Guide and the Measurement guide: To access the measurement guide, all you have to do is go to the word "file" on the top left of the program and then open "measurement guide". If you can not find it right away, it may be located under "f". It is that simple. The program will automatically start which ever file you last used (Headstamp Guide or Measurement Guide).

FINDING Rimfire Guide & Centerfire Measurement Guide:

If you ordered both the Headstamp Guide and the Rimfire Guide. To access the Rimfire Guide or Centerfire measurement guide, all you have to do is go to the word "file" on the top left of the program and then open "measurement guide" or "Rimfire" in the directory of where the software is installed on your PC. Usually defaults to there anyways. If you can not find it right away, it may be located under "f". It is that simple. The program will automatically start which ever file you last used (Headstamp Guide, Rimfire or Measurement Guide (meaning Centerfire as rimfire measurement guide is in the rimfire headstamp section as a link..

SEPT 26, 2009:

5 new headstamps added and MANY of the Spelling errors on the CD corrected. ( I apologize as when I did the new Major April update, I had to use an updated version of the catalog software and it turns out the Spell check was not working...I apologize for this.)

Oct 20, 2009:

35 new headstamp pictures added. 4 listing corrected. 13 new headstamps added.

 

Nov 4 2009:

65 new headstamp pictures added. 12 listing corrected. 17 new headstamps added.
