Painted Shirt Native Arts & Crafts - Craft Teachings - Regalia

Over the past years while working at Ben Calf Robe School, Aaron Lee took on the challenge of constructing regalia and has been asked on several occasions to make boy's and men's outfits.

For over 15 years Painted Shirt Native Arts & Crafts has built up the experience in making fine, high quality regalia.

Aaron Lee has many years behind him as he himself has been involved in the pow wow circle for many years as a traditional dancer. He knows what it takes to make beautiful regalia and dance pieces. His work is excellent and becomes well known as word of mouth spreads of his products and services.

Painted Shirt Native Arts & Crafts has a goal to support pow-wow dancers in the community of Edmonton. In the past, work has been done on regalia for youth in a dance troupe and using this experiance we can take orders to create regalia for the pow wow market. past work includes bead work, sewing, dance sticks and bustles.

To contact Aaron Lee to assist you with plans for your regalia or to utilize Aaron as a resource to create dance troupe outfits, please e-mail him with the things that you want done and we will provide to your needs as best as we can. We do have the equipments to provide you with an idea of what we can make for you. If you would like to provide your own ideas of what to go by, please let us know.
