Painted Shirt Native Arts & Crafts - Craft Teachings

Painted Shirt Native Arts & Crafts offers contract work for teaching native arts and crafts to native organizations and schools in the local areas of Edmonton, Alberta.

Aaron Lee, a certified Native Artisan and Cultural Arts Instructor provides teachings to schools, Native Organizations and groups. Through our arts and craft sessions the organizations that worked with us were able to access numerous resources of craft sessions, an experienced instructor to teach these classes and access to our suppliers that provide the supplies and materials for our sessions and the ability to call back Aaron Lee to effectively teach these classes.

The resource materials that these organizations are provided by Painted Shirt Native Arts & Crafts becomes a resource for the organizations to use continually and incorporate in their programs and services.

Our goals for our craft lessons:

  • Classes are aimed at Aboriginal organizations
  • To teach youth about the importance of Aboriginal culture
  • Provide a vision for creativity
  • Be a positive influence for aboriginal youth and provide a "safe environment"
  • Have fun and interesting craft projects for all ages

We have produced a craft lesson brochure with updated information. It requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to view. If you have problems opening the document please contact us and we will e-mail you a copy.
