Sleeping on a mushroom pod
surrounded by the wisps of
night....she sleeps..
 

Cradled in the early dawn
on the downy bosom of the bird.
Protector of fairies, he guards her sleep.
Cooing softly he gently tempts her awake..
 

Stretching slowly the day begins
and the fairies seek the sun.
Merry winds caress the blooms
and sweep the night away.

The birds sing their song of morning
and the flowers of the day nod
their pretty heads in agreement.

Fairies  in the morning glow
shining their fairy light on the day.
How beautiful they are..combing the strands
of sunlight.

And playing in the sunbeams.
They dance their daylight joy,
and pause only as you pass.
So look closely my dears..

It's the fairy dawn.....
