Bonus Story - I'm turning into my father


So, the turning into my father thing. Well, at one point it has been
said that my father is the only person in the world who purchases pocket
combs in bulk. Well, Scott, one of my coworkers, recently got his hair
cut. Scott used to have hair a bit longer than mine, and wound up
getting it cut pretty short. As anyone who's ever had hair cut back from
long to short will tell you, you suddenly notice the amount of heat you
lose out of the top of your head. Well, with the chillier weather we've
been getting up here, Scott decided one day to wear his toque to work,
and had toque-head, with several massive cow-licks in his hair. My
instant response? Haul out the comb I keep in my desk and ask if he'd
like to borrow it.

Yeah, a comb in my desk at work. A pocket-comb.
