Spoken INK Reading Series & Featured Readers

For a number of years, the BWS hosted Sunday Afternoons at the BAG -- monthly literary readings by members and featured guests in the lounge of the Burnaby Art Gallery at Ceperley House.

In the spring of 1997, we launched our "Generations" reading series, hosting four readings in a coffeehouse by the same name. These readings became the "Revisions Readings" series at Myles of Beans Coffee House until that much loved venue closed in November 2008.

Our new reading series is called Spoken INK, and is held at the James Street Café, 3819 Canada Way, Burnaby, on the third Tuesday of each month (except July, August and December.  Sign up for the open mic is 7:30 p.m.  The readings begin 8 p.m. with our featured guest(s) and are followed up with an open mic.
