<p><font size="+1">This award site celebrates short works of fanfiction set
in the universes of </font>
<p><font size="+2"><i>Buffy the Vampire Slayer</i></font><i> </i>and <i><font size="+2">Angel</font></i>
(the Series).

<p align="left">Eligible fiction is limited to a maximum of 2500 words (based
on word-processing software counters like in MS Word) not including author's
notes, disclaimers, etc. </p>
<p align="left">Please be sure to read the additional rules and to familiarize
yourself with categories before attempting any nominations.</p>
<p align="center"><font color="#CC0022">Note: No updates will be made to the
site between 7 and 15 August 2004.<br>

November 2004)</font></p>
<ul>
<li><font size="1">Nominations: will be accepted beginning in
late September but will not be posted until after the judging
for Round Four is complete. The Round Five Nomination period
runs until noon (MT) 31 October.</font></li>
<li><font size="1">Judging: will run through to 30 November.</font></li>
<li><font size="1">Winners: announced shortly thereafter.</font></li>
</ul>
<p><font size="2" color="77aadd"><b>Readers' Choice Round </b>
(December 2004 / January 2005)</font></p>
<ul>
<li><font size="1">No new nominations. All past nominees are
eligible and will be contacted (in November) to confirm they
wish to participate. Authors who have had more than one story
nominated in a particular category will choose which of those
stories they want included in this round.</font></li>
<li><font size="1">In addition to the regular categories, two
special ones will be included this round: the <i>Tell Me a
Story Award</i> (Readers' Choice for Favourite Author) and
the <i>Bedtime Storyteller Award</i> (Judges' Choice for Best
Author).</font></li>
<li><font size="1">Voting will run from 1 December 2004 until
noon (MT) 25 January 2005.</font></li>
<li><font size="1">Winners will be announced 1 February 2005.</font></li>
