BIG SUGAR AND DAVID USHER ANNOUNCED FOR EDGE ELECTRIC CHRISTMAS SHOWS

We’ve already informed you about the massive tour that Big Sugar announced in support of their greatest hits package, Hit and Run: The Best Of Big Sugar, and the latest jaunt that David Usher is out on to support his recently released third solo album, Hallucinations.

Now both bands have been selected by 102.1 The Edge in Toronto to take part in something extra special. You see, year after year the kind folks at the Edge have been sending the message that "it’s better to give than to receive." What better way to continue with the spirit of giving by announcing that both Big Sugar (with The Trews) and David Usher will take part in their annual holiday event, the Edge Electric Christmas?

Usher starts the festivities at the Kool Haus on December 12 and Big Sugar will follow up the next night on December 13. Tickets for both shows go on sale this Thursday, October 23 at 10 a.m. and are available through all your favourite outlets (Ticketmaster, Rotate This and Sonic Temple) for a bargain price of $22.

Edge Electric Christmas has been providing Toronto with some rollicking concerts over the years that has seen Barenaked Ladies, Placebo, Matthew Good Band, Moist, Treble Charger, Bif Naked and Sarah McLachlan as past stars of the annual event.
