Ezekiel 28

  1. If these are the sum of the evidence convincing me of a living satan its quite pathetic.
  2. Ezekiel 28: (2)Say unto the prince of tyrus... Yet thou art a man, and not God. Here it is straight forward that this (12) lamentation, which is a POEM purporting grief, is talking about some man in power and authority. The countries in previous chapters are set in the order of: Ammon, Moab, Edom, Phillistia, Tyrus, Egypt: so why in the midst of all these countries getting prophesied upon by god would tyrus all of a sudden start reminiscing, satan way back when, especially when the previous verses specifically say thou art a man. (3) wiser than Daniel, there is no secret that can be hid from thee: Daniel was a spiritual prophet, tyre was in the mercantile business. Tyre may have been wiser than Daniel with regards to merchandise but Daniel was wiser spiritually. (4) with understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasure: Satan has no need for gold and silver or riches. (5) By thy great wisdom and with thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches: Any bodies heart can be lifted up by anything. Riches wouldn't appeal at all to satan or his angels, they, as rumor goes, would rather have souls. Other verses totally relate the mortal of tyre to be human the more you read it the more obvious the whole thing becomes. (13) Thou hast walked in the garden of God: Chapter 31:8 The cedars in the garden of God could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chestnut trees were not like his branches; nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty: The Egyptian pharaoh has been in the garden of God, twice mentioned and nobody seems to think this represents satan. Often we read a word and think automatically that this is what it means, but not so.. closer inspection often reveals especially in this topic, that the brainwashing takes over and we just glide on through thinking we know all about that one.

    (14) Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so; Israel had a wonderful relationship with the previous king of tyre, sammuel 1 who treated Israel really well, so well in fact that the relationship of the two, covered each other, like a husband and wife, "1 Corinthians 7:14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy." With this new king ruling over tyre, the former alliance was changed. Thou wast upon the holy mountain of god... that would be Zion in Jerusalem, on earth, not heaven. (Daniel 9:16, Joel 2:1,3:17)

...Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee: Created means crowned in this case, this man of tyre was okay until he became rich and powerful then iniquity was found in him. This is often the pattern with humans. The iniquity here, is pride or the all encompassing, puffed up, humans get a bit of money or a lot, power too, and they go mad. God made angels, they don't have faults and there is no iniquity found in them. (psalms 103:20)

Isaiah 14:12-14

Isaiah:14 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! Lucifer is not connected to satan in the bible, this is an inferred situation, I do not equate Lucifer with satan from anywhere in my canonized bible. Lucifer is only mentioned once in the bible and most recent bible editions, NIV, RASV, etc. have removed the word Lucifer. The king james has Lucifer in it but this is a translation error not of itself but that people keep reading more into it than is there. Do some research and you will find this son of the morning is the star Venus, which rises in the morning is outshone by the sun all during the day and shows up again as it gets dark for a little while. This chapter is too the king of Babylon which always did weaken nations by exiling the people away to Babylon, i.e. taking them from their homeland. (13) I will sit upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: The sides of the north is Mt Zion in Jerusalem, on earth, not in heaven. (Psalms 48:2) and then if you read on this chapter says what it will do to humans not angels.

there's absolutely NO evidence at all to support satan and his fallen angels. This chapter is about a man. If not for the word Lucifer i don't think anyone would think anything special of this chapter. Ezekiel 28, now that has more points to debate than this weak chapter.
