Any objects that are built by people are considered to be manufactured structures; otherwise they are known as natural structures.
Engineers and architects often get their ideas for manufactured structures from natural structures and adapt them for human needs.
Because it is easier for humans to produce objects that are square or rectangular, many manufactured structures have a lot of right angles in their designs.
