View the Community Association and Watershed Boundaries Map

There are ten different community associations within the Bowker Creek Watershed. Organizations like the Camosun Community Association participate in creek cleanups and are working to restore sections of Bowker Creek. The community associations are currently participating in the development of the Bowker Creek Watershed Management Plan with the CRD and other stakeholders in the watershed. Patricia Randell from the Department of Geography at the University of Victoria has constructed two web-based multimedia sites which depict the ecology of UVic's green spaces. You can connect to the web pages by clicking here or by clicking here you can go directly to the Bowker Creek Special Study Site and learn about the dominant plant associations within the headwaters of Bowker Creek. Participate in the study "A Comparison of Web-Based Multimedia Educational Sites as Visualization Tools" by taking a few minutes to give your feedback on the online survey form.
Regional Trails Map
The Regional Trails Map shows the the proximity of Bowker Creek (blue) to the local system of trails (red). The new Bowker Creek Watershed Management Plan has developed a strategy to help guide the progress of linking the Bowker Creek corridor with the larger greenways network.
Natural Areas Atlas

An excellent source of information is the Capital Regional District's Natural Areas Atlas. Some of the information available through this website includes detailed air photos, fish distributions and sensitive ecosystem mapping.
