Amelia Collins

A humble, kind, generous soul,

So steadfast and purely devoted

Serving the Kingdom of God

With deeds so incomparable.

~

Chorus: Amelia Collins, you were a true friend indeed

To the Guardian of the Cause of God.

Amelia Collins, you were aware of the needs

Of the Cause of God and you loved so thoughtfully.

~

Bridge: Rewarding us all with superlative love,

Engaging us all in the life of the Cause.

Bringing a smile to the Guardian's day,

And cheering his wife in innumerable ways.

~

A lovely and beautiful spirit,

An eloquent speaker and teacher.

Uplifting hearts, inspiring souls

With emboldening Words from the All-Merciful. (chorus)

~

Bridge 2: A heroine of service, you bravely persevered.

A sign of bounty, you were obedient, assured.

You worked with zeal and fervor to please the Guardian.

Your meritorious accomplishments revealed your high station.

~

You were willing to do what was required

To assure the onward progress of the Cause.

Day by day, you became nearer and dearer

To your beloved, the Guardian of God. (chorus)

~

Bridge 3: You were a Hand of the Cause, so "sensitive and pure",

Self-sacrificing, munificent; you helped the pioneers.

You were a handmaid of Baha'u'llah, never wavering.

You made great goals all possible, surpassing obstacles.

~

A valiant supporter of the Guardian's work,

An invaluable contributor to His plans and projects.

Relieving the Guardian of burdens and cares,

Bringing joy to his heart, and always being there. (chorus)

~

Bridge 4: Awake, alert and powerful, possessing inner wealth.

Like a spiritual hearth, ever warming all the hearts.

You carried the melody of love to your last breath,

A "Lady of the Kingdom", a light among the stars.

~

A "unique asset" to her beloved Faith,

A gem "so precious to us all."

You served so valiantly for over four decades,

With "magnificent endeavors" in spreading the Faith. (chorus) (bridge)
