The roof is just 6 pieces of cedar joined with Polyurethane glue. I mounted it agianst the log part and held it in place with the tailstock to trim the drip edge.
It's ready now for some sanding and and the hole and the perch has to be added. I will coat the paper birch with a couple of coats of lacquer
