This bowl was quite challenging as it had 492 pieces in it. The turquoise blue segments were made from acrylic dyed blue in sticks then cut to size.
I use industrial metal ring clamps to hold the parts for glue up . The veneer in the background is used to make the fine feature rings once dyed black. Ebony is nearly impossible to find for this purpose now.
