Rhonda McLean as Vicky Isler
Nova Scotia native Rhonda McLean began working in theatre in 1984. She has appeared with the major companies in that province, including Neptune Theatre, Eastern Front Theatre, and Mulgrave Road Co-op, as well as summer festival theatres in Antigonish and Chester. Among her favourite roles are Ernestine in the two-hander The Anger in Ernest and Ernestine, Molly in Wendy Lill’s All Fall Down, and the title role in Educating Rita.

Rhonda’s television and film credits include Sue the Worker for Salter Street Films’ series Works, and a supporting role in Lifeline to Victory. She recently completed work on Blue Moon for Tristar, and will be taking on the role of Miss Harper for the upcoming series Pit Pony. Rhonda also played Maud Lewis in the CBC radio production House of Flowers.

An accomplished puppeteer, Rhonda builds her own puppets and has toured internationally with Mermaid Theatre, a world-class puppet theatre based in Windsor, Nova Scotia. She channelled this experience into the creation of a critically acclaimed play for young audiences entitled Penny’s Wish, which premiered with Eastern Front Theatre in 1995.
