Mary Colin Chisholm as Aggie MacDuff
Mary Colin Chisholm is well known to Nova Scotia audiences for her stage work with Festival Antigonish and Neptune Theatre in Halifax. Mary Colin is strongly identified with the central character of Margaret MacNeil in The Glace Bay Miner’s Museum, and has had memorable roles in such plays as Good Night Desdemona, Good Morning Juliet, Dancing at Lughnasa, and The Anger in Ernest and Ernestine.

May Colin authored the play Safe Haven, written for Mulgrave Road Co-op Theatre and also produced by Neptune Theatre and the Western Canadian Theatre Company. She wrote and performed in the CBC radio serial comedy He’d Be Your Mother’s Father’s Cousin, which she adapted into a one-woman show for Festival Antigonish. Mary Colin has also directed at the Festival.
