Currently Social Teachers in Alberta are adapting their teaching strategies to adapt to a new social studies curriculum.  Our site is dedicated to those  high school teachers who are implementing the new curriculum.  Of course any of the ideas in this site are adaptable to any Social Studies course.

 

Our focus these days in on the Globalization and answering the over arching question; “Should we embrace Globalization?”.  You will find lessons, projects, ideas that have developed over many years of teaching, collaborating, etc.

 

Use, adapt, ignore any of these ideas as you see fit.  As a teacher, I have benefited greatly by sites like this on the internet.  Now it is my time to return the favour.
