The Biomass Energy Institute March10, 1971 - 1993

The Biomass Energy Institute operated over a 22 year period publicizing the potential for energy created from biomass and was headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Beth Candlish was the Executive Director of the Institute when it closed its doors in 1993. Many of the articles published in the journal "Biojoule" were examples of use which seem to be important in the twenty-first century climate change senario. As a result, these are being made available to the public as pdf files which can be downloaded by using "save as" where desired.

The issues available in pdf start with the December, 1986 issue. Only the index for the earlier issues is available so you can see the topics addressed by the Institute.

The Biojoule journal included news items, Biomass Information Sources (listing books and journal appropriate articles), OF INTEREST from journals, Diary (listed coming events) and Ads which are not included in the scanned journals as they were more time sensitive than the scanned articles. The final issue was included in nearly entire form so you could have an example of the timely items.
