BACKGROUND: 
There are hints of a number of links between this mystic and the Golden Masque, who was active during the war years. Some speculation exists that the Sorcerer may have apprenticed to the older occultist, possibly in Tibet.

The Silver Sorcerer rose to prominence as one of the core members of the well-known group, the Hero Collective. Equipped with the authority of a Federal Marshal, he traveled extensively to seek out and defeat the mystic powers of evil wherever they arise, until his corruption at the hands of Avatar led him to fight for the very things he once opposed.

After the failure of the Kali Yaga, the Silver Sorcerer went to ground (possibly in Tibet). He is, however, a suspect in the murder of the Magister Secundus in late June, 2001, because of the apparent use of the Dagger of Destiny in this crime.

MOTIVATION: 
Responsibility of Power.

TACTICS: 
The Silver Sorcerer is an intelligent, cunning adversary, possessed of a wide variety of abilities, both mental and physical. If granted the time to bring these abilities to bear, he can unload a host of attacks upon a foe. His primary weakness is a vulnerability to entangles and a dependance upon the use of focii.

- consulted with the group on the capacities of Nightforce and Dr. Diablo during the Midnight Son affair. Fought at their side to prevent the Dark Paladin from retrieving his unholy blade, and then to vanquish Diablo's attempt at apotheosis.

- oversaw the training exercise between the Knights of the Coast and the Hero Collective.

- became friends with Crucible and had invited him on a number of occasions to visit their base of operations. Spoke at Crucible's Memorial Service and took part in the battle that erupted there.

- attended the conclusion of the Injustice for All affair, and remained on friendlier terms with the group than certain of his comrades after that bit of work.

- this changed when he partook in the battle against the Knights and Guardians as the possessed members of the Justice Machine attempted to invoke the Final Solution. Vanquished in this attempt, he has fled into hiding.
