BACKGROUND:	The Sluagh, or Host of the Unshriven Dead, are manifestations of deceased men and women who died after committing a heinous crime or living a disreputable life... in other words, they died without having been forgiven. Not to say that these beings became Sluagh upon their death, but a Sluagh rasping against a window or a door late at night was sometimes given the name of the departed. Once the name was given, the identity imbued the Sluagh with memories and demeanor of the departed. Although most are solitary haunts, there is a feared band of Sluagh, known as the Wild Hunt, who thunder invisibly across the land upon the backs of nightmares performing acts of malevolance.
