The manner in which the Feds responded to the situation and dealt with the doppelganger was kept extremely quiet and is unknown to the exotics responsible for his rescue, much less the world at large.

- despite numerous indirect interactions (such as when he authorized the use of the Enforcer Battle Droid against the group when it appeared that they had gone rogue), the first apparent real encounter between the Knights and the President occured when they rescued him from the rogue Enforcer that had been unleashed as a consequence of the earlier decision.

- in fact, what the team had rescued turned out to be a Replicant, as the group found out when Templar discovered the real President in a cell in the subterranean lair of the Industrial Revolution underneath New York. After a difficult battle, the team and allied members of The Minute Men finally managed to teleport the President away.
