BACKGROUND: 

British? Cursed by his height it seemed only natural for Roland to run away from a Dickensian orphanage to seek shelter with a travelling circus. His mistake. The tortures they laid upon him were far greater but at least here he had found others as freakish as he. As he grew so did his innate excellence in acrobatics. However he used this to aid a short lived crime spree. Landing in the clink he was contacted by an agent for a foreign 'business man' who had a proposition. Roland was offered the use of a test suit in return for his later co-operation. Unlike many given this choice, Rolly has honored the agreement and has received regular support and upgrades.

As a mercenary ally of MAYHEM™, he partook in the attack upon Fort Knox during the opening stages of Operation Face-Off. This attack was thwarted by elements of F.O.R.C.E. and the Ultramarines.

Within the featureless silver ball of his combat suit, Orb bounces around the field of combat, depending upon move-through attacks and a tremendous speed to down his foes.

KotC ENCOUNTERS: 

- amongst the mercenaries present within MAYHEM's Underwater Base when the bounty was laid upon the head of Phoenix. Made a number of attempts to claim the bounty, rolling through friend or foe (but mostly just bouncing off of Phoenix ineffectually) before the rising waters forced his withdrawal (waist-high water is a deadly peril if trapped in a porous metal ball that is only slightly larger).
